Provably fair without the marketing hype

What seed-reveal verification actually proves. What it doesn't. Which Originals catalogues publish a real Provably Fair Calculator and which just ship 'provably fair' as a marketing word.

How we rank casino

Methodology, not marketing.

  • Payouts cross-checked against AskGamblers reviewer cohorts, not operator-reported speeds
  • Bonus terms read past the headline — wagering, max-bet rules, cashout caps all counted
  • Licence status checked against the regulator's site, including SIGAP and Coljuegos
  • KYC triggers logged per operator so you know which ones flag aggressively
  • Provably fair originals verified via seed-reveal where the operator publishes one
  • Dispute response time weighted into the trust score, not just dispute count
Casino Seal

Awarded to operators that clear every signal in our methodology. No casino operator currently holds it.

Frequently asked questions

What actually counts as a crypto casino?+

One where you deposit BTC, ETH or stablecoins directly — fund, play, withdraw, no fiat on-ramp required for the round trip. Most operators in this category run Curaçao licences and geoblock the regulated markets (UK, US, France, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Australia). The serious operators now also hold local licences in Brazil (SIGAP) or Colombia (Coljuegos) for those specific markets, which is why Stake and a couple of others can actually serve Brazilian and Colombian players legally.

Are crypto casinos actually rigged?+

The top ones aren't. The Originals catalogues at Stake and Cloudbet run provably-fair seed reveal, which means anyone can recompute a round from server seed plus client seed plus nonce. That's a real cryptographic primitive, not a marketing word. Third-party slots run on provider-level RNG certification. The actual risk in this category isn't rigged games — it's payout denial and verification freezes when the risk engine flags you. That's why payout reliability outweighs library size in our methodology.

Which crypto should I actually play with?+

Stablecoins for the bankroll. USDT or USDC on TRON or Solana means no volatility during play and cheap to move on or off the platform. For deposits and withdrawals specifically, Lightning BTC, Solana and TRON-USDT are the fastest and cheapest rails across this set of operators. Stay off Ethereum L1 for anything under $500 unless the operator covers gas — paying $15 to move $200 of ETH is a real loss and the operator does not refund it.

Will I get KYC'd on a crypto casino?+

Probably not at signup or on the first withdrawal. The risk engines underneath trigger on cumulative withdrawal size, unusual deposit patterns, shared-device flags and VPN detection. The AskGamblers public complaint database is the best read on how each operator actually behaves when the engine flags you. Stake's complaint pattern is mostly verification loops rather than payout denials, which is its own story. The operators on our shortlist all clear that bar — we drop them when they stop.
